He has never failed at recruiting, he has been hit or miss coaching but hard to judge off of the limited numbers of scholarships at USC, but he has always 100% failed, everywhere he has been at being the CEO of a program.

Nobody ever questioned him being an elite recruiter and as far as X and O's....Nick Saban hired him. He has never shown the ability to be the face of a program and lead a program. Dealing with the media, administrators, alumni, the NCAA....complete and total failure. Has he matured under Saban? Hard to say, he has been hidden and not allowed to really talk to the media but his twitter handle still seems like he is a child.

Lane Kiffin is a salesman. A good one. This guy continues to fall UPWARD every step of the way, even after tremendous failures.

Sure he has done well at Bama. But let me ask you this - who hasn't done well at Bama under Nick Saban?
