other AAC gamesModerators: PonyPride, SmooPower Re: other AAC gamesCurious to see what people say: Should we be rooting for UCF to beat Cincy for our regular season conference aspirations? Or should we be rooting for Cincy so that if we beat them it helps us continue to look good in the eyes of the AP voters.

Re: other AAC games
I think it would be more of a dilemma if instead of saying AP voters you said that according to RPI Forecast if cincy wins out except losing to us Saturday and in the aac finals then there is a decent chance cincy finishes with top 10 RPI, which would mean smu would have two wins over a top 10 RPI team.
Re: other AAC gamesI guess I should backtrack a bit. I should say in the eyes of the committee because ultimately we are at their mercy if we don't win the championship (worst case). UCF winning would help their RPI and in turn helping us since we beat them on the road but then hurts Cincy quite a bit. I dunno, I get the ultimate goal is "just win" but just seeing from projection stand point, I'm curious.

Re: other AAC gamesI'll take a UCF win for sure. We've got some tough games left on the road even if we beat Cincy at home. The difference in beating a 1 loss Cincy teams is negligible. You'll remember the Championships and it would add to our AAC legacy. A Championship or Co-Championship would be a factor in getting a bid. Look what happened last year-what might happen if we lose a game due to a key injury or foul trouble

Re: other AAC gamesweird game-started 17-1 UCONN-then USF reduced a 20 pint deficit to about 6 right before halftime. Then in next 12 minutes of regulation it was like a 52 point lead. Negative 46 points in 12 minutes? 35-2 UCONN run

Re: other AAC games9-0 Cincy. I think every shot taken- about 7- has been a 3 pointer. UCF has looked like dog [deleted] so far.

All they said is The American is a two-bid league which I think at this point we all are starting to accept. Shake It Off Moody
