Yes he did. Good call Calallen. Coach Jank can flat out coach. He allows our guys to find their rhythm and get settled in it.

Deserves a raise at the end of the year. Should have plenty of budget money laying around since LB and his staff were much more expensive. Need to make sure we hold onto Jank.

Funny story, I saw my friends at Milos after the game. They said they had a flat tire after the game and Coach Jank helped them change it.

The guy just got the biggest win of his coaching career and he helps some kids change a flat tire.

Class act! I hope he is at SMU for decades.

What Coach Jank has done with about half a roster this year has been unreal.
If he's not AAC Coach of the Year, they should do away with the award.

And not to forget, Jank's W-L record as an acting HC, and HC this year with SMU is 31-4 !!!!!

Here's to final 2016-17 season record of 35-4 and a National Championship capper !!

I think Jank learned how to teach from LB. but he's surpassed LB in willingness to adjust the plan on the fly.

LB's "defense first" plus Jank's offensive open-mind equals where we are this morning.

We are very lucky to be where we are today. The setbacks have been hugely frustrating but they make days like yesterday that much sweeter.

Let's run the table.

All of this. The radio show audience tonight attested to it. Most crowded Humperdinks has been all year, even for Chad after beating 7-11 in football.

He was mobbed after the show and hung out for 20 minutes talking to fans and taking pictures. We got a good one.

Gave away our defensive strategy against cincy.

His answer to the recruiting question was good, too. Looking for talent and will develop a 'system' around the players we have rather than recruiting a 'type' to fit his 'system.'

I also like the fact that he is calm and cool all the time. You can see his attitude helping the players to stay in the moment all game.

smusic00, thanks for the info. Couldn't get there tonight but I thought Jank once again proved he is a stud as a coach and from other report on flat tire, is as good a man as he is a coach. Have we maybe found our guy for...a really, really long time?
