More SMU's Shake Milton will return to school for his junior season, per multiple sources. Will be one of the nation's best guards in 17-18. "smupony94: Harry, you have been promoted to purveyor of official status capabilities."

Re: Shake is Returning to Schoolwell, that's one. Come on Semi, you're up next.

Re: Shake is Returning to SchoolHa! Last pre-draft measurement has him at 6-7. Better stop growing or SMU will put him on the blocks with all the guards in the lineup

Re: Shake is Returning to School
Damn! Should be unstoppable. C'mon Semi: join the party. Party at The Wopper!
Re: Shake is Returning to SchoolI still feel he has a lot of the same weaknesses he had as a freshman with just a better feel and knowledge of offense.
I hope he works ok his explosiveness and becomes less timid.
Re: Shake is Returning to SchoolMiles Bridges and Alonzo Trier, arguably both lotto picks, are returning for their sophomore and junior year respectively. Do we think this says anything about the changing tide to stay and win instead of chasing checks? Does anyone think this sheds any light at all on Semi's situation? Or better not to speculate over completely unrelated events? It could slide him up the board a bit.
Re: Shake is Returning to SchoolShake Milton's Soph numbers (2nd year) are roughly comparable to perhaps the greatest PG in SMU History- Nic Moore's Soph (3rd year) -some slightly higher some slightly lower but basically pretty much the same--he'll continue to mature and in fact will end up being the superior player both offensively and defensively
2016-17 Shake: 35.4 minutes, Points: 13.0 FG%: .437, 3Pt%:.423, Ft%:.758 Reb: 4.1 Assists: 4.5 Blks: .3 Stls: 1.3 TO: 1.8 Moore: 32.2 minutes, Points: 13.6 FG% .464, 3 Pt% .436, FT% .825 Reb: 2.3 Assists: 4.9 Blks: .1 Stls 1.5 TO: 2.4 plus Defense: Significant advantage Shake Moore leads in 6 categories-Shake in 4 but Moore had an extra of year of experience too and really deferred to Nic as a PG as a true freshman and was transitioning to the primary ball handler this year. Re: Shake is Returning to SchoolAdd into it that the team this year was much more of a 5 scorer offense rather than an inside out (which benefited nic's stats). Shake is really really good and could easily be a 20ppg scorer if he was told to be the #1 option.
Re: Shake is Returning to SchoolBridges is surprising but Trier was not even close to a lottery pick. He was early second round at best. Every mock I saw had Semi ahead of Trier.

Re: Shake is Returning to School
I think they may have seen this year's draft as stacked and next year's as a better opportunity to go first round or even lottery. Let's hope that's how Semi sees it. Party at The Wopper!
Re: Shake is Returning to SchoolI've been out of the loop but was Shake thinking about entering the draft?
Re: Shake is Returning to SchoolThere had been no open talk of it since seasons end.
