Ole Miss

Is it true Ole Miss got hammered by the NCAA, no bowl for 2 years? And their football players can transfer to D-1 without sitting a year? Do we need any of those guys, CBs/Safety/LB? Seems like SMU would be a good place to land to get playing time.

Why? Old Miss will only be ineligible for two years, save for a couple of sub-minor bowls we've been ineligible.for the past 30!

Yeah, when it was first announced that OM was getting sanctions and their players would be eligible to transfer and play immediately I went through their roster and posted a list of players from Texas, primarily undergrads, that would be eligible. We didn't get any of them.

Houston landed DB Deontay Anderson, listed as a top-10 prospect out of Texas coming from HS. So not only did we strike out, one of our chief rivals landed a talented safety prospect. Houston has cleaned up this year in the transfer market.

Looks like at least 4 starters, including Anderson.........from Ole Miss, TCU, Miami & Utah.
