compare his comments to what you see today. absolutely sickening and frustrating to see how we have fallen. We must get a new coach who can bring this program back to where is was before 'tankovich' took over.

I hate to say this....but was it worth it? Remember the 'good times' are what got us probation since LB couldn't tell the truth.

If SMU had not gotten LB the team would have been stuck in mediocrity if not worse with no good memories. Some good memories are better that none imo.

YES otherwise you're just a below five hundred team for the last hundred and three years

What we did is legit nothing in the world of college basketball. Spare me.

Misdemeanor crime.

Felony punishment.

I’ll not defend what LB did nor will I spend much time thinking about why it all went down the way it did.

This is about where we are now and how we go forward.

I was on board to reserve all decision (personal) until after this season.

But then came the recurring recruiting debacle.

I was patient through much of it.

“It isn’t over yet,” I said to myself.

Guess what? After Thorpe.....

It’s over.

This guy will never come close to winning in this fast improving conference.

He’s no Hurley

He’s no Penny

He’s no Cronin.

He’s no Dawkins.

He’s surely no Sampson or Marshall.

Haith even gets it right once in awhile.

He gotta go.

Was it worth it? Are you kidding me?

I ask, was letting LB go worth it?

We did not let him go. He walked away.

Because SMU offered him a junk contract.

I know we are hating everything, but it's important we don't let some urban myth become accepted reality.
The school, rightly, wanted a clawback inserted in the extension if LB got in trouble again or the APR rendered SMU inelligible.
That is a very reasonable stance. They didn't run him off.
I love LB and what he did for the program, but him quitting the morning after the DPD shooting in downtown was pathetic.
