9 Potential Grad Transfer QBs Available

Postby aus10fromhous10 » Wed Jan 02, 2019 2:58 pm

The Grad Transfer Tracker has nine QBs (10, if you include Ben Hicks) with "intentional/potential to transfer" in 2019. Who do ya like?

    Tyree Jackson (Buffalo)
    London Johnson (Charleston Southern)
    Chance Thrasher (Coastal Carolina)
    J.C. Robles (Colorado St)
    De'Andre Johnson (FAU)
    Christian Alexander (FIU)
    Jackson Tyner (Rice)
    Brett Kean (South Florida)
    Chris Oladokun (South Florida)

I like waiting until QBs begin leaving P5 programs.

The P5 transfers, especially ones in bowl games, haven't listed yet. That is why the ND, Bama, and UT players aren't on the list.

I read somewhere that someone put there thought Buffalo's Jackson might go pro, and was worthy of a mid-round draft choice. If nothing else, that definitely would suggest he's worth a look, right?

Of course, but he’s likely looking for a P5 opportunity.

I wonder if Jalen Hurts would like to try the Garrett Gilbert path to the NFL.

Hurts entered his name into the transfer database. He’s from Houston. Go get him Coach.

You’d be amazed at how many have not announced their intent to transfer

Not sure where you read that but it can't possibly be right. Though Khalil Tate thought about transferring he decided to stay at Arizona. Why would Hurts transfer to a school where he'd be right back on the bench?

Also not sure why anyone would think SMU has a shot at him. He's going to be at P5 school.
