Firing Jimmy Tubbs

Postby PonyPlayer4 » Wed Feb 13, 2019 9:20 am

Jimmy Tubb's win % in the last two seasons before he was fired: 47.36%

04-05 record of 14-14
05-06 record of 13-16

Jimmy Tubbs lasted only 2 seasons on the Hilltop, but his two seasons were more successful than Jank's last two seasons.

Jankovich is on pace for a 45.3% win rate his last 2 seasons.
17-16 record of 17-16
18-19 record of 12-19

The AD got rids of Tubbs because of some made up sanctions (much like UConn and Ollie). Let's not forget, Jank was the Associate HC and HCIW when SMU got put on probation. He was here the entire time! He should not get a pass.

Fire Jank.

Who doesn’t remember Max Williams and the “burgers and Cheer” incident?

Sad. I really like Coach Tubbs. He was always very good to me when I worked in the BBall offices.

So is Jank. That doesn't dictate whether or not someone keeps a job.
