Postby PonyPride » Sat May 25, 2019 12:09 pm

SMU will play a non-conference game Sept. 17, 2022 against the University of Maryland at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium, according to a statement released May 24 by the Maryland athletic department.

The Mustangs are 0-2 all-time agains the Terrapins. The teams last met in 1962.

I still forget they are in the B1G.

Should be a fun game! We would have Navy at home that year based on the current rotation. DC people will get to see the Ponies three straight seasons!

National is closest. BWI might be easier though.

Wouldn't you hope for a home and home with Maryland or at least a 2-for-1? At least there are quite a few alums in the DC area but a one and done with Northwestern or a top Florida school...or a 1:1 with SDSU or 2:1 with UCLA/USC seems more ideal.

Can we get a home and home against MD for basketball like we did with Michigan?

It'll be fun to go. Of course who knows 3 years from now, how good we'll be or how good they'll be.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
