Not sure this has been posted but it's certainly relevant.

ASU has some talent returning, but they have all new assistants, need a QB to step up, and lose their on-the-field leaders on both sides of the ball. Plus they need a kicker in the worst way.

SB Nation gives them the overwhelming chance to win mind you, but I'm not sure that's warranted at this point. We should have a slight edge in raw talent on the field, a more stable (and in some ways proven) coaching staff, and a more proven product coming in at QB. But that's just my take.

The article includes the comments of State's coach - who is a cancer patient -about his health. It puts talk on this this board in a different perspective.

The coach is fine. His wife has cancer and is in very bad shape.
