For those at the game who might have been upset with the “homer” ASU announcers last week, we were gushed over last night by the crew. One of the announcers in particular kept saying over and over how much more SMU was going to improve and grow during the year and be very much a force in the conference.

I wanted to stop by and thank you folks for beating the pants off North Texas. As a stAte fan we never liked those guys much. Also, we bounced back this week and destroyed UNLV at their place. Keep on winning. We will do the same.

We are pulling for y’all the rest of the way.

I commented on the game thread last night...what an incredible start Xavier Jones is off to in terms of scoring. His 6 TDs in the 1st 2 games has him on a pace (not that he will have any more 3 TD games) to beat Eric Dickerson's single season record of 19 TDs. Go X! Get 3 more vs Texas State!

Did not realize Flanigan ranked that high in rushing TDs.
Such a great player.
