That's the maturity I was talking about. Has this team even had a serious deficit all season? Most teams, even top teams, can't handle that. Yet they didn't give up.

Short sermon tomorrow...

I realize you are not Catholic but you might mention you had a Hail Mary tonight.

I had more than a Hail Mary, Mark...but that is another story for another night.

I am past emotional overload. I'm glad our players and coaches were not.

I’ve been going to SMU games since 1977.... this is easily in the top 2-3 SMU games I’ve ever been to.
Incredible finish.... what an effort from our guys.... I. So glad they were rewarded with the win.

Anyone check out the scowl on the Tulsa coaches face when he was walking up to Dykes?

Don't know whether or not this is better or worse than beating them by 30. But is still awesome. Will be hard to sleep tonight with adrenaline hangover. Should have been drinking (more) heavily.

You know how people say “probably the best thing that could happen to get them going the rest of the year” after a loss? Well this is that except we got a win out of it too. Great wake up call. Great character builder, great confidence strengthener.

This ranks right up there with the '89 UConn game for comeback wins.
I don't know what the struggle with Tulsa will do for our standing in the Top 25, and I don't care.
This was a great win for this team. It shows they are never really out of a game. This is the first 6 game win streak since the DP.

Nice job by the frosh Rice stepping in for Reggie. Some great clutch play in that 4th quarter but what an emotional roller coaster of a game. Costly penalties against Tulsa (timely gifts for us), missed delay call that brought Sonny close to a heart attack, every PAT a nail biter and Xavier's fumble. Glad Proche made that catch and that this game didn't have to come down to a FG attempt

Perfect timing for the bye week.

Two weeks to mend.

Gotta figure how things went so wrong for most of that game.

Yes. Things went horribly wrong. For three quarters, Tulsa lined up and kicked our asses. Hats off to them.

Oh, we left a point behind due to our kicking game. Tulsa left 10 points behind. As bad as our kicking game is, it wasn’t as bad as Tulsa’s.
