The challenge is to find someone who "fits" chemistry wise and has at least 2 years of eligibility, although at RB we might be able to get away with a "one and done" to let the young guys get bigger and stronger for when their time comes.

Educated guess on possible transfer on the transfer portal -Stanford CB Obi Eboh from South Lake Carroll has a sister Serena on the SMU's women's soccer team. I think he would have 2 years to play https://smumustangs.com/sports/womens-s ... eboh/11369

Stallion wrote:Here's one SMU really might have a shot at- 4 star Stanford DT Michael Williams from Ft. Worth All-Saints has just entered the Transfer Portal. SMU was all over him early a few years ago but he had too many national offers. I'm pretty sure he visited SMU on numerous occasions unofficially with his teammate J.C. Rispress. Plus his mom wanted him to go to SMU
Started in all 25 games in 2018-19. Played in all 38 games during past 3 years
Bump. 24/7 is reporting we’ve landed him: https://247sports.com/Player/Michael-Williams-38809/Anybody confirm this? EDIT: It’s a ‘crystal ball’ prediction, sorry. Got excited at the 100% listing. Or does that mean he’s signing?

That just means all the crystal ball predictions (1 at this time) say SMU. So if another CB predicted a different school they would each be at 50%.

Quite a few Texas Four Star Transfers "out" on the list, without a new school. So much for ratings.

There are some really interesting names on that list. Particularly, the 4 star players coming out of OU and LSU.

some of these guys can't be "graduate transfers" until they graduate or at least project to graduate which is why these commitments trickle in through the spring/early summer

I'm pretty sure he's a coaches son, so maybe him being closer to home will be a better fit for him.
In any case, another nice pickup.

His dad is the head football coach at Arlington Bowie High School.

Will be interesting to see if Bowie had any stud prospects coming up. If Dad/coach is at SMU on Saturdays and becomes close with our staff, might he steer some players our way?
