Gives this team plenty of freedom to play one on one ball and to jack up threes at crunch time. Today's finish was hard to watch

The axe is ground already.
Jank has won 75% of his games.
No, he's not Larry Brown, but let's stop making it sound like he's Doherty 2.0.

To begin with, we have no idea how Coach Doh would have done had he inherited a refurbished Moody with sold out crowds, Moody Madness and a roster filled with some NBA talent. We do know that he once was named College Basketball Coach of the Year.

But regardless, this is a ridiculous argument. We can’t luck out on a Top 10 all-time basketball coach so let’s settle for a crappy coach.

News Flash - I can name 5 current college coaches in the state of Texas alone who are not LB caliber either but whom I’d take in a heartbeat over tankovich.

We have size, but no team passing that I could see. Attempted lots of 3's which is good if you can hit them, if not, its a quick rebound for the other team. The 3 is great when other team is playing zone, but if its man, attack inside. So, if guys are jacking up irresponsible threes without really trying to make solid passes first, then as a coach, you have to sit them down so they learn. Otherwise, "launch one", brick.

I guess it's ok for him to wear his Kansas gear now.

Apparently over-seeing the waiver process is not something he does well.

Or at all.

The article after the Jank one is relevant for tonight’s game.

Will Michael Jank go into coaching, like Josh Pastner? Doesn’t seem to be the investment banker type like some recent SMU walkons.
