Jank goes to his bench to give some much needed rest to some starters but this game is being played at a faster pace and higher intensity level than Band, Jasey and C.J. appear capable of playing. This Houston team is playing with a different level of intensity than what they showed at Tulsa Saturday. To be fair, so are our guys (compared to our effort at ECU) but it doesn't appear we have the depth of talent to hang with these guys.

Agree. That was weak sauce.

Shooting is poop. Can’t win with poor shooting obviously.

Halftime rest appeared to help and Houston not playing with same level of intensity right now but how will Jank handle substitutions so our guys don't run out of gas the last 5-10 minutes?

Free throw shooting is killing us. The difference in the game right now.

And I thought our FT shooting was going to help us win close games this year. Can't miss another FT the rest of this game

Starting to look like we are going to need to hit our free pitches to win this one.

18-5 margin on fouls? At least 3 blatant no-calls in last few minutes.

Houston's PA announcer is counting down the shot clock when UH is on offense.
Is that legal?

Rebounding is now the difference in the game. We are being out-hustled just like Saturday against ECU. No excuse for that.

UH has 10 rebound edge in 2nd Half-that and FTs are the difference.

In this case Houston just appears to have better (quicker) athletes

He’s doing it for both teams because the shot clock is not working. UH is simply draining the clock while SMU is playing fast.
