That is a phenomenal thread.

I think the defensive efficiency statistics are really interesting.

Teams that run the air raid or run and shoot offense in football tend to have poor defenses because they don't practice physically.

I wonder if similarly, teams that are guard based with athletic wings and focus on threes aren't physical in practice so it hurts their defensive efficiency in games. Whereas teams who focus on the half court and an inside/outside game practice half court defense and are stronger defensive teams.

The defensive efficiency is what is preventing this team from taking another step forward. Temple, I think, was one of the more complete defensive efforts of the season. It will be interesting to see if we continue to improve as the team matures. Or if it, indeed, is just less of a focus for Jank and we won't reach that higher level.

I think we are starting to see some of the results of finally being able to practice five-on-five.
