While there is merit to the claims that the NCAA isn’t currently protecting athletes knowing the risks of brain damage, this particular lawsuit has zero merit. It will be dismissed long before the merits are considered.

Never had a concussion playing football. Did have one popping wheelies on a bike. Faked one in a blow out in a HS game to get out of the game.

My time may come. But it was worth the ride. I'll follow Forest Gregg's example if the same happens to me. Price one pays but as I said, worth the ride.

I would guess I had several concussions. The subject really never came up. I was rendered unconscious a lot, and there was concern but it just never seemed to be a major issue. When I determined I could not continue I was greeted with several “We were waiting for you to say so” by coaches and trainers. Of course this was back in the “run some dirt on it era”.

I was never forced to play or practice beyond what I felt I could do.
