At one point, Carter was the only guy with a Super Bowl ring and an Olympic gold medal.
Anyone know if he's still the only one? I can't think of another.

Bob Hayes. Carter may have been the only “active” player with both at some point and time but I believe Hayes was the first.

Watching him throw the shot put was something to see. He just blew away college competition.

He still holds the national HS record for the 12 pound shot @ 81' 3" set in 1979. I am not sure anyone has even gotten close to this record.

Female-wise, Chelsea Francis set an SMU record last year in the 100M with a low 11s time.
