Should the Cowboys draft Boo...

Postby ponyfan777 » Mon Oct 12, 2020 11:49 am

Ok Cowboys don't blow this opportunity to draft Shane Buechele. A hometown kid with the stats to back up, maybe an early 2nd rounder.

With a good season he very well may be drafted - which is the main reason I don't think he is back next season.

What happens to draft position if the Cowboys win the division at 7-9. Do they end up 6th from the bottom or does their W/L determine their draft position? Living in DC area, I heard one pundit suggest that DC draft a QB in every round and see if they can get one who can play. If Washington loses to the Giants this weekend, I'm looking for them to full out Tank for Trevor.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

He's short for a quarterback who doesn't run (much), and his accuracy seems to go away for a quarter every game.

I love the guy playing for SMU, but I doubt he gets drafted at all.

I'm thinking along the same lines. If he gets drafted, it would likely be in the 6th or 7th round but probably has a better chance of catching on with someone as a free agent and I would think the Cowboys would at least give him a look. I loved having Gilbert when we had him and look at how his NFL career has gone.

Shane's better than Gilbert. Fourth round.

Even if that were true, the teams willing to draft guys who are thr size of Russell Wilson are few and far between.

Of course, that's irrelevant now. Beat Cincinnati!

4th to 6th round is where I am thinking.

He has shown a lot of maturity this year, especially under pressure at the end of the game.

He is facing his first real good aggressive defense against uc. It will be interesting to see how Boo and the offense does

I think Cincy intercepts a couple of those early throws. I expect a lot of tight man coverage with the hope that their DL will break through our line before Gray can separate.
