There were about half as many fans in attendance as the UH game and the box score showed just over 1500 so that must be the number of available seats. I commend the ticket office staff for great customer service. Our seats were removed last game and they were very responsive and made sure our remaining tickets were correct.
It's just these second halves, at least for the last two games.
Its not though. The erratic play is there in the first half as well. Both of these games, with more efficiency on offense and consistent, organized defense would have been done at halftime. The other team just wasn't hitting their shots in the first half.
My concern that I raised after the first few games was to see how we would do on offense and defense in more of a half court situation. The answer, at least right now, is very inconsistent. We will see if consistency can be developed by the coaching staff over the course of the season.
The callout by the announcers in the second half on Hunt was correct - he didn't touch the ball a few possessions in a row, so when he does, he is going to force something. K Davis is the only player on the team who will attack the lane and then if nothing is there, back it out. The entire team would do well to listen and absorb the criticisms of the broadcast team.
