What's neat about all this is that we are at the point in the program where the 25 player annual limit really comes into play.
We will take high school players that we really want, that fit our needs as a program. Then we fill in the rest of the holes with transfers.
Everyone is focusing at the great athletes we are bringing in at the top of the class. And that is really cool to see. But the big change is going to continue to be at the bottom. Instead of filling in a class with a bunch of 2 stars or low rated 3 stars that are a stretch, we are replacing them with high end transfers.
This change enables increased competition at every position on the field. And increased competition produces results.
So, don't get hung up on whether or not we land additional 4 stars or not. Instead, recognize that the players we bring in are players that we actually want, that fit our needs, and are going to make us a better team moving forward.
