Add Franklin Agunanne to the list of incoming transfers as a forward/center.

''Have to give Jank & staff credit for assembling what potentially could be a much improved team. Just need K.D. to want to come back and be a part of this. Otherwise, we have to hope the incoming frosh PG is ready to go immediately!

Regarding our newcomers, don’t sleep on Michael Weathers. Led his team in scoring as a freshman.

Scored 24 in first round of NCAA against a Michigan team that made the Final Four. Here are the game highlights. A bunch of them are of Weathers… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q66OrH-b3Kk

Error in my post above…Michael Weathers was NOT a freshman last year. In fact, he was a senior in eligibility but gained an additional year through the NCAA COVID waiver.

Michael started college at Miami of Ohio. Transferred to Ok State. And then transferred to Texas Southern.

Lots of different scenery for him. Hoping the Hilltop and being with his brother on the team will be good for him.

Getting prematurely excited about the upcoming hoops season. Love the Nutall/Bandoumel cover photo on the board today. Looks like Nutall driving past arguably our best defender from last year in Bandoumel. Guard play will be strong and if we can just improve our post play!

The foundation for any team is coaching. Its like building a house - you can use the highest quality materials but if the foundation is faulty, corrupt, rotten, weak then the house collapses.
A long tradition of existence.
