Tim Jankovich and the SMU basketball team has signed the first two members of their 2022 recruiting class.

plenty of good offers for both of these guys; looks like good additions and compliments to this year's FR class but we'll need some experienced transfers to replace everyone that will be moving on after this season

Disappointing especially considering he signed his letter of intent in the fall but I assume Coach Lanier would release him if he decides he doesn't want to play at SMU. If that's the case, I do wonder what the motivating factor might be.

Give credit to Jank for his last class. He got a big man who had an offer from Arizona and another player who signs with UT. Wish he had recruited that well earlier when we had all that momentum.
