Samp is definitely going to do well wherever he goes.

Samp is definitely going to do well wherever he goes. #HammerDown
Re: Lots of smoke... any official statement?
IF he's the one spearheading the decommitting of players, seems like he's working for the perfect coach.
Re: Lots of smoke... any official statement?
That is absolutely not true ponyboy. Sonny got a phenomenal offer, with everything he could ever want as part of it. TCU is overpaying to get Sonny. But Sonny is still making a mistake. The great thing is that the alumni have a great package for the next coaching staff.
Re: Lots of smoke... any official statement?Sonny is going to have a short leash. He’s replacing a legend at TCU.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: Lots of smoke... any official statement?
So, they made him an offer he couldn't refuse?

So, they made him an offer he couldn't refuse?[/quote] YES! he woke up last week with a frogs head in his bed.
Re: Lots of smoke... any official statement?
Everybody at SMU and Lashlee better be reaching out to him and doing what they can to retain him. Have to believe he's a big part of having any hope of retaining the bulk of this year's recruiting class.
Re: Lots of smoke... any official statement?
Samp signed his contract alongside Dykes. Go Frogs! Pony Up!
Re: Lots of smoke... any official statement? When?
Maybe they can [deleted] off both schools -- recruiting for TCU while employed by SMU, and then coaching for SMU while under contract to tcu. If they signed before the game, were they empowered by 2 schools at once?
Re: Lots of smoke... any official statement?Contract Probably has a start date which could be later than signing date.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
Re: Lots of smoke... any official statement?
Correct. Worth also noting he will be a top 12 P5 paid coach (CGP was 9 at $7mm) and he will have 3.5x $$ for assistants. Go Frogs! Pony Up!
Re: Lots of smoke... any official statement?
The saying “they have more money than sense” seems to appropriately apply to tcu. Good luck froggies!!
Re: Lots of smoke... any official statement?
I am cautiously optimistic. Go Frogs! Pony Up!
Re: Lots of smoke... any official statement?Ok Bus......OFFICIAL enough now old friend?
