Replace one Quebecois with another.

I like who we’re going to battle with.

Roster is set and slightly upsized. Lots of new faces but that just might be the future of college athletics. Will be interesting to see how quickly Lanier and his staff can get these guys to play together. Would love to see a true 10 deep roster with good chemistry

Not in Moody this year. I try to get back for reunions every 5 years but otherwise have to hope they play somewhere near Charlotte. Games at ECU, UCF & USF are always possibilities. We lived in Charleston for 20 years and I hope someday we play in the Charleston holiday classic just before Thanksgiving. That's an 8 team field so you get 3 games. Thought about making the Jacksonville Tourney last year but we went to Marco Island to guarantee good beach weather. Turned out to be a good decision as last year's team took a long time to gel and their performance at that event was really disappointing but at least those games were televised. I'm cautiously optimistic about what Lanier might be able to do with this roster and will be interested to see what the schedule will look like.

We always get some Southland opponents to come to Moody and I would expect that trend to continue in the early non-conference slate. Not sure if New Mexico and Georgia still owe us trips to Dallas but hopefully we can get some P-5 games and would be nice to play both TCU and UNT

We know we are in the Hawaiian Airline Diamond Head Classic Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, December 22, 23, and 25: Honolulu, Hawai’i with George Washington (Atlantic 10), Hawai’i (Big West, host), Iona (Metro Atlantic), Pepperdine (WCC), Seattle (WAC), SMU (American), Utah State (Mountain West), Washington State (Pac-12)

are we good? I always set expectations too high. We are tall, I know this much. And I am stoked that the 3 frosh from last year all stayed.

does Z Phelps start at PG? who else can play PG?

Hopefully next year is time for Zhuric to become the alpha he was in H.S.

There is no way to know if we’ll be any good. Personally, I’m excited to see where this goes and will be getting back into the season ticket game.

Actually listed as a combo guard. Hopefully will be both a good ball handler and shooter for SMU but I expect Zhuric to be "the guy" to replace Kendric at the point.

Everyone we have is a combo guard. This is going to look kind of like when Shake ran point. Press, use the length on the perimeter to defend the three and the size down low to protect against penetration. Use Phelps to facilitate the offense in the half court, go back to a little inside-out offense (if our center is effective offensively and can pass). Tons of pick and roll to allow Phelps, Nutall, and Williamson to drive.

Glad that we scheduled Dayton again. Looking forward to the drive up there for the game.

I love playing at Dayton since it helps us prepare for a potential First Four game.
