CFP selection showModerators: PonyPride, SmooPower Re: CFP selection show1:30 central for the rest of the top 25 and NY6 bowls
Re: CFP selection showIf we get to NY6, do we want FSU, UGA, Ore? All of them ticked off.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: CFP selection showDoes this foreshadow SMU/Liberty decision? Committee showed they value best team/eye test more than just wins (good for SMU) but also showed they value injuries (not good for SMU with Stone going down a la Jordan Travis). Liberty has a soft conference/SOS and no great win. Hopeful!
Here's to those that wish us well and all the rest can go to hell!!!
Re: CFP selection show
If we get NY6, I guarantee we get one of these three. Just hope it’s the cotton bowl Pony Up!
Re: CFP selection show
The media was unusually friendly to us on this topic last night. The ACC announcers fawned over Rhett and during one of the broadcasts, maybe our game, the network showed a graphic pointing out that Liberty played the weakest schedule in Division 1.

Re: CFP selection showThey’re tying to squeeze all the juice they can. Can’t believe it’s this long.
I disagree with the top 4. To me, it should have been FSU # 3 and Alabama # 4, although I could see the argument for Texas at #4. The reality is that FSU deserved it as an undefeated P5 team with the schedule they had. I think it’s much more difficult to win the SEC than the B12 (duh) so I would give more credit to a season than a head to head game in week 2. I am confident that both Georgia and OSU are better than Texas. Let’s hope the committee follows AP and Coaches poll in that both have SMU above Liberty.
