another great post for "Around the Hilltop" forum..
What we obtain too cheap.. we esteem too lightly. It is persistence alone that gives everything its value.

YES! I said the same thing! I had her for 'Ethical Implications of Children's Literature'........ I guess she isn't bad unless you are male, and disagree with her. If you don't consider Snow White to be a horrible tale unfit for children, and you don't find racism in things like phone book covers, then she can give the impression of bias.

You don't even have to be male to have had an issue with that woman. If you have any sort of a belief in God you are doomed in her class.

This woman seems like she would be extreme anywhere outside of Berkeley. The first day we got the "I'm a single Jewish woman raising two adopted, bi-racial children" speech. It seems anyone else is a biggot of some sort. To each their own I guess.

I got crappy grades on every paper I had in her class, (Thought 1 I believe was the name of it), until my final paper. I got totally trashed and then wrote the paper. It was the only A I received all year long from her.

And I guess I should edit my post from earlier that you could have a belief in God, you just could not accept anything in the Bible to have been written as fact or that it was actually God's word.
