Re: Kickoff snafu
it's just a fun rules debate because we won. I think Hubba may be correct. Start with the premise that unlike a fumble, a recovering team cannot advance an onside kick. What if the Tulsa player got to the ball at the two yard line and purposely batted it forward into the endzone so he could then ...

funny, i don't see Richard Moore listed above. Guy gets hurt and kicked to the curb. He was the starter and team leader two weeks ago. I'm not for or against Morris, he is what he is. He did some good things on offense and with overall team discipline, made mistakes on program management and ...

Re: Patterson still upset about all the SMU fans at TCU game
The guy never changes. Maybe Gary should worry more about the discipline of his defense with guys ripping off helmets and throwing them downfield. That Frog player definitely should have been kicked out of the game but i'm glad he wasn't because Gary would have whined big time about it costing him ...

Re: GAMEDAY...
good luck tonight mustangs, best way to rebound from denton, is with this opportunity. TCU is clearly good, but still beatable. Thought we might have had them last year but the hail mary and the heat that day wore us down. I look for big games from B. West and Kemon tonight. Would love to see Kemon ...

Re: Offensive Line/Participation Chart Starters
unt brought the heat as if they suspected our line may not be prepared due to the coaching absence Obviously we werenΓÇÖt very ready up front and it showed. Hard to swallow after we had controlled the games with unt the last 3 years. Gotta pull it together and get the offense on track.

I nominate this for ponyfans post of century. Hopeless optimism and hopeless pessimism both completely captured in 18 words.

Re: Outstanding Win
Winning at #7 is objectively probably the best win of this era. Doing it without foster and To save our NCAA chances, pretty incredible win. Losing foster really sucks and now have to turn around and get revenge on Tulane.
Re: Disaster
normally I wouldn't comment, but since my son didn't suit up (was ruled out with an injury suffered near end of the Tulane game), I am unbiased on this one. Ponyte has it mostly right. Guys, there was virtually no game plan. Worse than that there was no ability to adjust to blitzes. It is well known ...

Re: Rick Hart statement re: Chad Morris, football coach posi
Its not as if the new coach would actually coach the bowl game anyway. That wouldn't be fair to him or this year's seniors/team. You let Traylor, Craddock and Malone do their collective best to end this season on a proud note and that's it, move down the road. Only rush is recruiting, when we hire a ...

Re: OFFICIAL: BATTLE FOR ATLANTIS GAME THREADS
Tough loss for us and the conference. They had played unc on the road already and looked more ready for real competition, our first 4 games didn't prepare us for much. Played well in a few spurts, that's was about it. Need agau badly and McMurray to take some scoring pressure off shake.

Re: Fire Malone
Fact is the coaches have always loved Rhone and made him a team leader this year. maybe layoff the conclusions a bit about spears and mcnew and others. Personally would like to see more stunting and lb blitzing because we are giving up big plays anyway even when we don't blitz. Big challenge the ...

Re: Brutal Fact: The 2 Greatest Moments in Last Half Decade.
Brutal scene in the fourth quarter, no other word for it. Lots of factors going against is last night from the cold, to late kickoff on a Friday night, to the game being on tv. Don't really blame individuals for having reasons not to be there but collectively it is sad. Lots of folks behind the ...

absolutely disgusting incompetence and shameful hypocrisy. They basically investigate for years, determine they have more than enough grounds to investigate and evidence to level a public judgement, then they say actually nevermind at the end. Wtf? only the NCAA and its band of shameless crooks ...

Re: Gary Patterson gonna Gary Patterson
Nobody is gonna shut down okie state. Won't know until 3 or 4 more weeks how good everyone really is. I'd say tcu is third best team in the b12. That ain't bad. Are they perfect? Nope. That's why we gave up a Hail Mary, left a bunch of points on the field, and still we in the game early in fourth ...
