i never said that 6-3 lineman was from atl. i said from a 4a in east texas. and the kid i speak of did sign with a d-1 school on signing day. and dallas had the grades and he did want to come to smu to join former atl rabbit Jammie Harper.

SMU didn't win a game last season, and the best qb in camp and best leader is thinking of moving on and you say nothing to worry about.

Boy! Am I glad you guys aren't calling the shots as to who will play next year. Have you guys even seen these athletes play? Some of them may surprise you. Just hold tight boys and all will be ok!

I've met Meeks and his dad(who coached him) and they are both outstanding men. Ricky Joe is very mature and knowledgeable of the game and a great leader. His presence will be felt. Good luck Ricky Joe! Go Mustangs!
