The size of these guys is insane.
At the risk of aging myself, we had a guy on my high school team who played NT at MAYBE 6 feet and right at 200 pounds, and we thought he was the biggest, baddest dude alive. He was really strong, but in today's HS game, he would be a LB at best, or a slow RB.

Re: Phil Steele Predicts ACC FB in 2025
As weird as Phil Steele is (ever seen an interview with him?), he often is more accurate with predictions than the folks at other publications like Athlon's or Dave Campbell's, which sometimes read like their writers have never seen the teams they write about.

Re: Scott Symons recognized as Graphite Award recipient
I know contracts rarely (if ever) get discussed by private schools, and huge kudos to Lashlee for extending Symons' deal, but I'm still a little surprised we were able to keep him. He got HC interest last year, and after what the defense has done in consecutive seasons, it seems likely schools would ...

"With the television deal settled, the ACC is now working toward a settlement with Clemson and Florida State that could end those schools' ongoing lawsuits against the conference."
Does the discussion with Florida State open with "... you remember your football season, right?"

I'll wait for the Texas Monthly piece.
I wasn't in school yet, but I remember my dad saying Penn State only won because the voters thought Paterno was going to retire soon and it was a charity vote for him.
I guess they were a little off on that one.

Re: Lashlee agrees to contact extension
I would have to assume the contract was structured with a healthy buyout. After everything the David Millers and Bill Armstrongs of the world have invested in get us into the ACC, it seemed really unlikely they'd be willing to let the coach who has us at 9-1 and has exceeded everyone's expectations ...

Re: Visiting for the Pitt-SMU game... what should we do?
The Sixth Floor Museum is an absolute must for any new visitor to Dallas. I was a terrible (and largely uninterested) student in history classes, and could have stayed there for days. It is nothing short of amazing. Skip the Bush unless your flight gets delayed a day and you have nothing else to do ...

If it goes to overtime, give each coach a putter at the 50 and settle it that way. Lashlee wins that one.

Sounds like he'll fill multiple roles, but Smith is listed as a running back

Re: SMU announces home-and-home games with Missouri State
Hart sending out UT orange parking passes was really smart last year. Boulevard yearly parking pass.
That guy is brilliant.
You really think the AD has anything to do with parking passes? That kind of decision is made far down the pecking order. Also, my parking passes were green -- was that ...
