Re: Comcast/Cable/CSTV

CSTV has all digital tier deals. They'll tell you that they are partnered with affiliates serving 60MM HH... really they're in about 6MM HH and can only reach 16MM.

Call your local system and ask them for pricing on the tiers they offer... you probably can access a breakdown of the offerings on ...

Re:

I can never forgive Rossley for that loss to Missouri in '96. The most inexcusible performance by special teams in SMU history. It was on his watch. The way that game was lost exposes a head coach's shortcomings and his overall football philosophy more than anything. It was one of the lynch-pin ...

Re: Bush Joins Stallion's \"Big D\" Movement

for those that saw President Bush's SMU speech on C-Span or in person last nite its good to see I can count on the President's support in Stallion's Big D Movement as one of his initial comments was that "its is great to be home in Big D". Just a small reminder on the helmut and in our ...

Re: Bob Toledo anyone?

Think about it. He is an amazing recruiter and has recruited Texas both when he was at UCLA and Texas A&M. He was able to recruit some of the best classes in the nation while at UCLA and UCLA is a program that does not admit partial qualifiers and almost never recruits JCs (last year was an ...

Norm Chow makes more money at USC than half the head coaches in the Pac 10 -- and USC paid for his house in the South Bay. He's not going to Washington, let alone SMU.

Let's at least fire Copeland! Someone needs to take the responsibility for this. Bennett should have the guts to resign. His big mouth raised our expectations, his record dashed our spirits...

Copeland isn't going to get fired if the school wins conference titles in other sports.

IF SMU ...

Re: Does anybody remember lif in the Top 10?

When I applied to SMU we finished ranked #5 in the country, the year 1985! In the fall of 1986 we spent the first half of the season on the top 25, then.........................we hit Rock Bottom...........................what happened should be a Harvard Business school review case! But any study ...

Re:

to get the Death Penalty you have to have an IDIOT at the head of your Board of Trustees who authorizes a continuing payroll to players even after 2 probations in 5 years. Apparently our renowned IDIOT is dumber than their idiots.

That wasn't the Board of Trustees... it was the Board of ...

That's exactly what we need - a coach who's been scrutinized by the NCAA for gambling allegations. Trying to make sure the NCAA doesn't forget about us? Or maybe set up a satellite office on the Hilltop? No thanks. He's a good coach, but no thanks.

Besides, we have a coach, and a damn good one. I ...

Re: What Would Make People Believe Again?

Here is my list.

1) Fire Bennett, and go after a big name . Although Sir Trolls is sometimes mean-spirited, I think he may be onto something with Switzer.

2) Make SMU more conducive to positive media coverage. Alumni should push the DMN and Ticket to hire graduates and do specials on OUR TEAM ...

It wasn't the death penalty, it is what we did to ourselves after the death penalty.
Well, of course, that's the real chicken-and-egg issue, now isn't it. If our heroes of the late 70s and 80s had played by the rules, there'd have been no death penalty and no Shields resignation in shame and ...

now is the time for SMU officials to attempt to tie down a long term series with the Bears. Its a game that is close enough to pump up attendance for both school, there is a tradition and natural rivalry to the game, Baylor would receive the advantage of a game they should win(with the recruiting ...

Re: Bamba Fall

The 190 pounds strikes me as being innacurrate. He does look a good bit heavier than that. I'd guess at least 220, as the other poster mentioned. Furthermore, his frame looks like it could easily hold another 50 pounds or so(he has pretty broad shoulders), which is another plus for him.

Well then if you think it will be easy to "right the wrong" next season while your team is on restricted member status, then I guess you have nothing to concern yourself with this year. Seriously man, if your 0-4 with just 800 to spare in your only home game, you're not walking, your hanging on to ...
