It also didn't help that the ref crew was utterly incompetent. Seriously, worst WAC officials EVER.

Tulsa did not select Golden Tornadoes as it was used by GA Tech at that time. We wore gold jerseys and "tore through opponents" like a tornado. Since that name was taken, they chose Hurricane as a similar weather phenomenon.
