Re: National Championship Game
Well I guess those of us that have been claiming Texas teams Baylor or TCU over Ohio State have been proven wrong.

Re: This is what I think we need to do
Gee's guys. I know it's been a little cold, but no need to be so rough, Maybe had a lone week. Just talking it up a bit like you guys often do. I'm well aware we are way to small to fulfill such dreams. It's kind of like dreaming for 50k fans in the stadium on a regularly. You have to admit it would ...

Re: This is what I think we need to do
nacho, Your remark is not that far off. Don't know about the dollar figure but covering the stadium would help pull people away from the comfort of air conditioning, heat and TV in their home or the local sports bar. They could watch a game enjoy the social life and a beer in comfort. After all ...

Re: Josh Heupel
Sorry smupony94. Didn't mean to put a burr under any ones saddle but the rumors are there as there are always rumors in the kind of situation. Probably just that. But not unusual to have leaks from behind closed doors either. We will know in the fullness of time.

Re: Other games
ASU, Mike Norvell's and Graham's defense cleaned Notre Dame's clock. Mike Norvell to SMU. You get some Graham, Malzahn, Chad Morris and Norvell all in one package. Norvell worked with them all and benefits from the knowledge of each. He will be a HC great one day.

Re: How Mason was named coach
True Stallion, I was referring more about head coaches walking into a situation like this and not being able to put their own personal in place and were they had little authority. Tough job being put in this place but most assist. coaches would do so for the team and it's their job.

Re: How Mason was named coach
Before we lay the wood to Mason to hard from a HC perspective remember that his HC standing is somewhat figurative in nature. Though he was allowed to bring OL help, did see some improvement there, he wasn't allowed rid himself of Morrison or bring in other offense help. Hands tied. So same old J.J ...

Re: Don't overlook Mike Norvell
Mike Norvell, you get a lot of Gus Malzahn, Chad Morris and hopefully some of the ability that Todd Graham has putting a staff together.

Re: Can we bring back June??
Fresno Mustang, curious about your stats on freshman qb Cassel so I researched him just for fun. I agree with not offering qbs under 50% completion rate. But you were a little off on this one. 59.7 comp. rate, 27 tds, 6 picks in his junior year.

Re: Davis not playing makes no sense.
If anyone that mattered thought Davis was of the mold of the qbs mentioned he would likely still be at A&M or at least not at SMU.

Re: Davis not playing makes no sense.
Like to see Davis take some handoffs for some outside runs were he doesn't have to think to much. Also like him to receive the ball behind the defensive line were he doesn't have as many defenders to avoid then show his run ability.
