Spoke to Taylor and he is doing well. His ankle is feeling good and he is working hard to get into full football shape. I have been in many text chats with Taylor this and last week and I can tell you all he feel's great. He said there is no pain in his ankle and he's working hard everyday. I am happy to report that Taylor's visit to the surgeon went very well today-he has been cleared to run and practice fully starting tomorrow. Dr. Curry was happy with the healing, etc. It will require Taylor to be taped up every practice and through the season...but at this point...good to go!! He's ...

Taylor see's the surgen agaon on Aug 7th...so should know more by then if he is cleared to go or has to wait a bit longer...they are being careful this go around so he does not have to suffer through more surgeries, etc...he's super excited to get out there and compete! I can tell you all my son Taylor Reich is doing great with his post surgery rehab. He is seeing my close friend who is one of the top notch PT doctors in San Diego again..the doctors put in 3 screws (bigger too since the other 2 previous broke) this round and had Taylor remain on crutches for 2 ...

Made it to Dallas in 19 hours from San Diego..Taylor met with trainers yesterday and said hi to some coaches, etc...back to the facilities today...met with Dr...all good so far...he's now working out with the team doing what he can do...that's it on upates...time for some football!! JR

Just a quick update-T is doing awesome..been at physical rehab daily-they are amazed at his progress. He is walking without a limp and very little pain. He's been lifting daily as well...he's really excited (except for the Dallas heat) to get back...we leave this Sunday on the father son road trip ...

T went to the Dr's again today...crutches off...walking without a boot...he said he has progressed ahead of schedule! He's at the gym daily and working hard to try to be ready for the season opener...so thanks for all the well wishes and positive thoughts..they seem to be paying off!!

Just a quick update for those interested. Taylor had his first physical therapy today. Went very well and he took his first steps on his injured leg\ankle. There was no pain and we were told his progress is excellent! He has been working out at a 24 Hour Fitness location for the last few weeks ...

T's doing great! Stitches come out Monday..he's doing some minor weight lifting..and watching his diet....will start rehab soon...he and I drive back to SMU in late June...he's going to work hard to make the start of the season! Thanks for all the well wishes!!

Surgery went great! T is resting and doing well...back to San Diego Saturday...a close family friend is one of the best rehab guys in SD..so will be in great hands until he returns to SMU in late June...
