If you've got a bench seat, does SMU allow you to bring in your own stadium seat?

Only problem with that gigantic IF, is Baylor, A&M and TCU. They are not our peers, they have left us behind, need to re-focus on reality and achievable goals.

As it's been mentioned before, I went to BU undergrad (saw a lot of bad football 1996-2009) and went to SMU for grad school. I've seen all or part of the 3 games so far this year. I think the talent level is down a bit over what we had 3-4 years ago, but it's hard to tell to what degree.

It's tragic, but there are 3 major stadium projects going on in Texas right now and there has been a death at each of them. At A&M, a worker fell off the back of the stands in one of the endzones and lost his life.

Actually, 4 made it in: Baylor, Texas, SFA and Texas Southern.

I thought that SMU was in, and at worst would get one of the play-in games. No doubt the loss to UH hurt.

That being said, there is no reason SMU can't go deep into the NIT, if not win the whole thing. It's like a bowl game for football...you get to keep practicing and keep playing which pays big ...
