Re: Sneaky big weekend in the AAC

We are also capable of beating anyone. One of these days we are going to play two complete
halves on the road and we are capable of beating anyone at home.

Re: SMU vs Tulane game thread

How in the world did Tulane beat Cincinnati? If they play like that again, we better bring
our A game. Go Mustangs!

Some of you are even worse at estimating crowd size.

Re: Full circle - back to the 1500

I took 3 other people with me last night and my estimate of the crowd is that
there were between 2500 and 3,000. I remember thinking that it was fairly good
considering 40 degree temp and light rain. I was disappointed in the student attendance.
ECU isn't much of a draw in Dallas, but I think they ...

Re: Jank

A lot of loser attitudes on here.
Because of Larry and DM's generous funding, we have seen this program can be a winner. The formula is there and we are in the right conference.
For us to just want to make the NIT every other year or so is pathetic.
The NIT in 2014 was exciting because the program ...

Re: Jank

Our last NIT experience was very exciting and one of the high points in recent SMU basketball history.
It provided and extension of our season with 3 more home games at Moody against quality
opponents; an explosion of excitement when Nic hit a corner 3 beating a good Cal team; and
two games at ...

Re: Jank

Cool win. We run the sun belt. Btw jank makes triple what their coach makes. We should win.

Don't disrespect Georgia State. That team has gone to the NCAA Tourney 3 of the last 5 years and beat # 3 seed Baylor as a # 14 seed in 2015. Ga State has a pretty respectable bball history. Granted, they ...

Re: Jank

I donΓÇÖt think anyone is a Jankovich fan, but unless you have the money for a buyout and the courage to bring on Pitino or are prepared to unload the vault for a great coach you might as well let it run itΓÇÖs course. Pretty much everyone thought that would happen at the end of last season and it ...

How do the rest of us watch the game? I assume the SEC Network is only for subscribers (?)

I think you could watch on ESPN+

Re: UPDATE: Tim Jankovich still sucks

ItΓÇÖs an interesting discussion but not really relevant to todayΓÇÖs mess. We do have a few good (not great) pieces. We lack a combination of a total stud with enough pro-potential parts to be considered a top program. We were ALMOST there with LB..... one lottery or high first rounder away. But ...

Will Ethan Play Saturday Night

Does anyone know anything about Ethan? Has he been practicing?

We could use another big body for Georgetown.

Re: MBB v Northwestern State Game Thread

Other than the win, the best thing to come out of this game was the increased confidence
levels for CJ & Everett. Both played hard and well. Bandoumel was perfect from the line - I think
he had either 8 or 9 free throws.

Re: Kinda funny

to see Jank out coached by ACU's coach. You probably won't see another game with a bigger difference in talent and we are only up six at the half. It is really embarrassing.

ACU is well coached, but our players weren't disciplined for large stretches in the first half. That wasn't coaching, it is ...

Re: Get ready for Tulane.

I believe 20K people will see us improve to 10-2. Go Mustangs. You have been fun to watch
this year, and I believe you will improve next year. Thanks for the exciting style of play and for
the winning record.

Re: OFFICIAL: SMU-Tulane Predictions

After what are seniors have been through to get this far, I think they will be
extremely committed to winning this game. I think we will want it more than Tulane
and so the score will be 41-21.
