Projected depth charts inherently signal a teams gameplan or strategy.
Keeping this information close to the chest allows for an element of surprise. And I guarantee UNT cares about all of the projected starters during film study and gameplanning on their end.
Game week especially is all about ...

While I don't know anything about a "CHUD"--
I am glad that in spite of earlier posts on other threads OTP and BUS think that Dr. King's solutions are useful in addressing the public policy issue that has so directly effected our fellow alumni Sterling Brown.

Re: Sterling Police Update
Yesterday that video had 420 views
It will have five million by the end of next week.
Here's the thing the city will settle out of court for probably 2 million Sterling will get his change for being tased.
But what's really unfortunate is that this young man's career has just began but it will ...

Re: Student Media Gone
Losing our 90 year independent paper is a bad look. These are the types of traditions that bring prestige to an academic institution probably at a greater rate than a successful athletic program. We want more students who are passionate about writing and journalism. We also want all of our students ...

At the risk of jinxing it--I'm always most proud that we never hear stories like this about our guys (in the league or not). And I'd take losing the Iron Skillet more often than not to keep it that way.

Liberal Arts - Pretty strong, but with the exception of economics and the sciences, not fields that are growing and are in fact shrinking. Why pay 200k plus to be a history major?
Simmons Education - Emerging as a great school and there is demand for education - but obviously the math is tough ...

Re: Who's missing?
Super under-rated aspect is Dykes coaching special teams--if true.
Special teams sets the tone for the whole team. It's often where burgeoning talent often can be seen earliest. It sets the fundamentals of spacing and tackling principals that people use on the offense and defensive sides of the ball.

Re: Plano Campus
Yeah SMU's unique value add seems to be compound:
Size
Small class sizes--I believe the 1 to 11 ratio still stands
"Intimate" student body--it's easy to know most people in your class
Nationally renowned Liberal Arts and Business Alumni/Professors who are welcoming to networking--go to any major ...

Re: Must admit...
I'm not a Morris apologist by any means, but Dykes' having a better winning percentage will be due to Chad doing a lot of the dirty work to clean up after JJ.
Sonny definitely seems to be a solid hire so far. Any successes he has will certainly be his own and not due to Chad or June--if nothing ...

Re: Plano Campus
I have some international friends in more engineering and software backgrounds who had never heard of SMU but were asking me if I went to school at UTD. We definitely need to strengthen our technical and engineering chops before we are wholly eclipsed by another technical school in our backyard.

Re: Chart on SMU Football 1993-2017
I appreciate all of the work required to create this graph.
but I feel as if it places too much emphasis on the subjective "ranking at the end of the season" at the expense of other important variables like "strength of schedule" (chad's teams played an easier one). That leads to some questionable ...

Sophomore Garrett McLaughlin has Germany Soccer Trial
Apparently we might be losing our top scorer--good luck to him!
"Speaking of college forwards heading toward the pros, I'm told SMU sophomore forward Garrett McLaughlin is heading to Germany for some trials. Had an outstanding season (14 goals) in 2017."

Players have to apply for Summer School classes and funding for housing over the summer. Only a certain amount of players can attend classes in the summer for free.
