Re: ASU

The undermining of the PAC by the B12 is rather unprecedented. I expect the PAC schools will remember this come the end of the decade.

Re: PAC12 Scenario = Expansion

a few things...

Utah has said their association with the PAC-12 did wonders for their recruitment of students and professors and overall academic improvement. For this reason, i.e. Academics, if there is no more poaching or relatively little additional poaching of the PAC, I could see the ...

Re: Third PAC Target "Confirmed"

Welcome to PF.
love your location. have been to San Diego a number of times. Plus your fball coach is Brady Hoke. Have followed his career as I used to watch his father John play ball in h.s. and later at Miami. Hope you all do well next season. Hopefully we will get to play you at some point in ...

Re: Third PAC Target "Confirmed"

Aztecgolfer: UTSA is perceived as a junior college similar to Boise. As such
it's unlikely the PAC is interested.

Really? Nearly 35K students and an R1 rating and considered a junior college. I guess it's true, in Texas everything is bigger.

Attention to detail is not your forte. Notice I used ...

Re: Third PAC Target "Confirmed"

I have been reading the readers comments on John Canzano's March 4 post re the PAC 10 media negotiations and potential expansion. The article and the comments are encouraging. His takeaway is that despite wild rumors neither Oregon or Colorado have any interest in leaving the PAC for the Big 12 ...

Re: Third PAC Target "Confirmed"

Yeah, nice attraction but hell no to playing BB on it. We did it the first time versus Syracuse. Boeheim promised he wouldn't play zone and lied. It was windy so we couldn't hit a three and lost.

Oh yeah, I was kidding. It was a total gimmick. Did Mich State and Gonzaga end up playing there? I ...

So this one says weΓÇÖre a lock.
If not Tulane or Rice?
Well, it says "near" lock, but seems to mean it's a done deal, yes. I still do not believe Colorado State is a real thing. I ...

Re: Third PAC Target "Confirmed"

Hotel Del is nice. Encinitas is a fun little town.

Encinitas is a nice place to visit. Golfers can check out the Scotty Cameron Gallery in DT Encinitas. Great Italian place called Truili's. If you want Mexican food, head down to Las Olas.
The USS Midway tour is great as well. LetΓÇÖs play the ...

Re: Third PAC Target "Confirmed"

First post here.

If the PAC adds to more after SDSU and SMU my guess is it will be Tulane and Rice. However, I really like the potential of UTSA, 3rd largest metro area in Texas, and an R1 university. Football has only been around for 12 years but they have had some success. Adding any of these ...
