Most of the peole interested in this game live close enough to go to the game (Our alums obviously, but I believe I am correct that more Baylor alums live in Dallas than an other individual area). Why televise when we want to sell tickets. Not many good excuses for not being there.

Re: Now, I'm even more confident in my prediction...

Gettis is the highest ranked recruit Baylor has gotten in a generation. As a track star, the showings the the Baylor athletes had in the Olympics persuaded him to sign with the bears.

This is good news. One huge weapon we won't have to worry about.

Well, I don't know if your definition of a ...

Well so did Westbrook.

I'm not trying to discredit LeVias. I think at the time both instances were huge in breaking new ground. And I think LeVias and Fry deserve all the praise they get.

But I always feel bad for John because he and whoever the Baylor coach was get no credit for an equally ...

Did he really break the color barrier though? What about John Hill Westbrook. He played a week earlier than LeVias.

Wow. I think this might go down to us and baylor as the other programs will fill up.

Noticed someone said they snuck into practice. I would love to watch a practice or scrimmage, how hard is it? What is the schedule every week? Does it change? What about scrimmages?

He wasn't calling TCU dirty and in fact if you read most of his posts you would understand he wants SMU to take the same risks.

All the ones who double signed have qualifying issues, along with some others. Hopefully for TCU they can raise their scores / core. But it is a gamble. And yes, Baylor ...

Sarbanes Oxley? Did you mean to ask about something else? Sarbanes-Oxley relates to the inernal controls of public companies. As a public accountant I can tell you it has nothing to do with a university and it is making my life suck right now.

Re:

The biggest surprise for Baylor has to be getting David Gettis out of Los Angeles. An Army-All-American who is also a track star and playmaker....how did they land this guy?????

Oh, they can thank NBC and the olympics for the promo piece on Baylor 400m runners this summer.

Any updates on how his vist went? How serious of contenders are the froggies and bears? Who is the leader? I think we have more to offer than TCU, but Baylor/BCS thing worries me. I guess he could play early at all of the schools, but we know that is very much the case here.

I like him and hope ...
