This one makes me nervous with his Big 10 comments as well. With Coleby seemingly leaning to WKU, where does that leave us if we miss both? The IL State kid still in play?
Brad Kelley, must be bankrolling the program.
WKU has no competitive advantages to do this well in the recruiting game ...

Re: How things have changed
Hah...like that one year where we played in the ice bowl vs UCF needing a win for a bowl bid and they just let people park and go into the stands for free. There was NOBODY there and they announced 12,000.
Tickets sold is announced.
I've been to a few games in the last few years with attendance ...

I know that you have good reading comprehension skills so I will not restate my post.
Blow them out and upgrade. If we can't, we have a bigger problem than scheduling.

You aren't, but others seem to be doing so.
Tough to get those teams at Ford. I'd err on the side of playing them. If they want 2-for-1s or 1-and-nones, let's go for it.

Re: How things have changed
Why do people keep wanting a game in the Cotton Bowl or Jerry's place? We cannot draw enough fans. When we last played Arkansas in the Cotton Bowl we were out numbered 4 to 1. The only chance we have for home field advantage is to be able to limit the opposing team fans, and we need Ford for that ...

Awful. The school needs to stop trying to change the Boulevard.
Pregame at the houses and get to Ford. Don't let Student Affairs win.
As bad as it is getting to the stadium in the past you know that there will be no participation at the game if they pregame at the houses.

Re: Frisco Beach Bowl
We are something like 0-54-1 post DP against Big12 'South' teams, pretty remarkable when you think about it.
We have also been unlucky recently as we scheduled Tech and OSU a few years ago when both were nationally ranked (and Baylor was down) then moved on to Baylor as they became prominent ...

As I've said before, they were leaving already (thanks FS1 for interfering). Tulane was a convenient excuse.

When SMU was added to the Big East along with Houston and UCF, I am pretty sure that it was us that most of the Big East traditional schools had a problem with - who knew that we would be the perennial top 20 powerhouse of a basketball program.
