Re: 1st Pony Football Game Ever was...
My father took me to at least one and perhaps two or three games at Ownby when Doak Walker played so in 1945, 47, and / or 48. I don't remember anything about the games. I do recall the photos in the sports section of one or both Dallas papers. Some times they used a still camera that took a rapid ...

Re: Best Mustang Moment you saw in person
A thread like this one is started every few years and the stories I have are mostly about the same events as last time.
First of all my father scored tickets to the '49 Notre Dame game and I wish I had known more about football as an eleven year old - maybe I could make better comments about the ...

2017 - 2018 season?
How does this compare to the actions of Leach at TT?
Does a big bucks donor pay for coach Mays or the Mustang Club, what?
Hard to believe the athletic department staff will not be subject to some fall out.
Liking, trusting Blum is one thing. To ignore eight or more students ...

Re: Sources: SMU rescinded offer from QB commit Raylen Sharp
Well, his dimensions are not so much different from what I remember hearing about Oklahoma 2 x cocensus All American RB Tommy McDonald who is also listed in the Eagles HOF although his program weight was more and the WIKI article gives him an inch more height and almost 30 more pounds.

Re: 2020 scholarship distribution
This post has had a lot of hits.
I keep checking back hoping that someone with more information than I has good news about replacements at RB, DT, CB, and maybe WR whether grad transfers, jucos, or stud freshmen.
But hey, ten days from now take care of business in S. Florida!

Re: Reggie Roberson Makes Announcement!
My own thoughts for Reggie Roberson are much like those above. I hope he gets over the injury that has kept him out of several games. If he's ready for FAU, great. If we don't see him then I hope he is fully recovered and able to play next season whether or not he decides to participate. Ditto for ...

Re: OFFICIAL SMU-NAVY PREDICTIONS
SMU is one and four against Navy in the current series and has been outscored 116 - 203. I certainly agree with the comment on another thread that we will not enjoy the glaring difference in size and speed and depth that the Dame displayed. I'm not a very knowledgeable fan but my feelings are of ...

Obvious (IMO) hint to the crystal ball gazers...
Unless he kicks back for a while former HCCM will likely take a job within an easy distance of the place where Chandler matriculates unless he decides not to play college football.
No doubt the home in Park Cities will be sold soon after Chandler ...

I only remember seeing a TV shot showing both stands once during the broadcast and the crowd looked quite decent and a big change from the usual I expect..
