Re: SMU can add immediate $ to ACC media deal
I keep seeing West Virginia mentioned as an ACC possibility. Why would they leave the Big 12 - and could they?
I dont see how WVU could leave. It cost OU and UT $50 million each to break the Big 12 GOR and leave 1 year early. Those are 2 of the high revenue programs and they were leaving to SEC ...

Re: BOISE and MEMPHIS to the new Big12 (Boise won't join AAC
If the PAC 12 values Dallas and Houston markets, media and recruiting, as well as academics as they profess, then Rice and SMU would makes sense. With a PAC 12 badge, Rice would recruit itself into contention and take advantage of their large stadium.

Re: Is SMU about to be left behind once again?
Sportscaster in Houston (Matt Musil) says the Big12 move is basically a done deal. Formal invites in a week.
If this is true then wow talk about dark days ahead of us. I really hope Aresco has invites out to Boise state and others to still keep the AAC the #6 spot. I hate that Houston didn't try ...

Re: Houston game postponed
I think a quick reschedule of the TCU game would be the most feasible . I don't think that will be
happening with little or no team practice, preparation, and administrative set up for the game.
Everyone knew coming into this season that schools would have to be flexible/nimble to get through a ...

Sub par? 4 teams finished in the top 20, tied with Big 10 for conference with the most ranked teams (noted that more independents were ranked than both)

Longest and drunkest Mustang Band bus ride back to Dallas. Pardee wanted 100 no doubt. Jenkins is an absolute @$$hole.
We shan't forget.
If Pardee wanted 100, he could have easily had it. Took a knee 3 times inside SMU's 20. 1-2 handoffs would have done it. Backup RB Kimble Anders had already ...

You do know that UH had more yards per carry than yards per pass attempt that game, right? And Spoon had 3 TDs and 209 yards on 15 carries?
Give him 30 carries and he has 400 yards and 6 TDs

Re: Official: SMU vs Houston Attendance
For an outsider's perspective: on the secondary market in prior years I was able to get a 40 yard seat on the opponent's side for $10 or less. So far this year I cant get better than endzone for around $20.
So either fans are keeping their season ticket seats this year or there were fewer season ...

We have owned Oliver. He aint no big deal.
Last year playing at 75% with a knee brace from an MCL injury the week before, he managed 4 tackles, 3 QB hurries, a pass breakup, and forced multiple penalties from the DT position. Not bad, but not owned. I guess thats pretty good considering Ed is the ...

Re: Official: SMU vs Coug High Predictions
Houston has scored >40 every game so I'd start there.
UH opponents have scored from 14 to 63 points. You decide where on that spectrum SMU falls.
Big question is whether Ed Oliver plays. Looked healthy jumping on the sidelines last week, but I wouldn't risk his health unless he's near 100 ...
