BIG plays across 3
B12 plays across 3
PAC currently plays across 2

Having 6 games at SMU in the Central Time zone is being sold as a TV viewing plus for the PAC-12 fans in the central and eastern time zones that wonΓÇÖt stay up for a west coast time game.

If I might ask one more question…..why is SMU continuing to fall in the US News ranking? Changing measurement metrics that don’t favor our situation? It seems we keep improving student body quality, retention, and outcomes but continue to fall ...

That's the core of the problem. No one at SMU thinks peaking at 5th in the AAC is a problem. Low pressure, low accountability, low results...but lots of excuses!

Other than the playoff bowls the bowl season has devolved into largely exhibition games designed to reward players / coaches and to generate product for ESPN etc….so I have no issue with players skipping to pro are for the draft. The reason none skip the Combine is because it’s a non contact ...

Any SMU player that thinks they have a legitimate shot at getting drafted will skip the bowl game.
