I am not a Chan2SMU fan, but he is not terrible.

Didn't he take GT to bowls every year he was there?
And didn't he take the Cowboys to the playoffs both years?

He is not in my top five list for SMU, the guy is light years

Gailey is terrible. Why would we go through the embarassment of going balls out for a coach and loosing him to another school, and then go out and hire the coach fired to make that vacancy.

Also, here is a newsflash, Gailey looks for other jobs constently. He was always trying to upgrade from GT ...

I would much rather have his son Jim Mora Jr. who would be a great fit for us, and in my opinion a "wow" hire.
