Re: NIL Collective

I had joined the PonySportsDTX Collective as well but have now joined the Boulevard Collective after watching this video. With the new rules coming following the House settlement there needs to be more monitoring of NIL deals. At one point I had heard Coach Lashlee say he had hoped for as many as ...

It's on the ACC Network and ABC. I'm recording both to see if there are different announcers.

Re: OFFICIAL: SMU vs Clemson Predictions & Roll Call

I'll be there with a Dallas buddy, and we will be at the FanFest at Clutch Kitchen.

Planning on wearing several layers, and bringing gloves in case.

We also opted for the on the Field experience for the Awards Ceremony when we win.

My guess is SMU 28 - 17.

Last minute booking left me with ...

Re: ACC Championship game, here we come

I heard from a buddy that snagged 2 seats in the Gridiron Club section, so booked my flights, and staying at the Aloft, that looks to be walking distance to the stadium. Seats are outside, but covered, so should be a good game experience.

Go Ponies.

Sat at lunch next to SMU great, Bob Begert yesterday, and he said we just missed out on a 7'2" big man, but he likes what we have put together so far.

Re: GAME THREAD: men's basketball at UNT

That was the best defensive game by both teams that I have ever watched. We got cold for a spell in the second half, but still had a good look at the 3 at the end.

I don't remember any games during the Larry years that rivaled this one for tough defense play. How anyone can be calling for Lanier's ...

Heard Rob Lanier Speak to a Group

I heard Rob Lanier speak Thursday to a group I belong to, The Salesmanship Club of Dallas. We have helped at risk and disadvantaged kids through therapy and education for 100+ years, with our main fundraiser being the Byron Nelson Classic golf tournament each year.

Coach Lanier spent a lot of time ...

Re: Stadium Construction

I rode by the construction on my bike ride this morning, and saw the large I beams that will support what I guess will be a huge screen just outside the North Endzone. The crane was about to start setting them. lots of people working all over the stadium site.

Re: 1963 Remember this?

I was there as an 11 year old with my older brother and my parents. The parents sat downstairs in their regular seats, and we sat about 1/2 way up in the upper deck around the 20 yard line.

One of my biggest memories of the night, was the crazy loud cannon Navy would shoot off every time they ...

Re: TexMex Wars

Been away from Dallas too long to be qualified to post on this topic, but years ago I remember favoring the original Ojeda's on Maple and also frequented Tupinamba's on NW HWY across from Bachman lake for lunch with a couple of guys I worked with in those days. It was just o.k. but an Aggie buddy I ...
