I couldn't root for Gillespie, he's a horrible human being. Doh is just a hard [deleted] and a bad coach. Billy Clyde lacks in every area you judge a mentor of kids.
For what it's worth- I don't hate or even dislike Gillespie, but Ponydoh nailed it. Only kids of Gilliespie's mold or mentality ...

Re: Proposal
I would probably quit worrying about Harp and spend some time picking on McCoy. Now there is a problem.
you're right. Harp is supposed to be a role player. McCoy is supposed to be the helmsman. Not good when the captain of the ship is MIA.
You know - I posted in anther thread that Harp should ...

Re: If I'm Orsini and am thinking about making a move...
The problem with Gary and recruiting is that Gary doesn't have good relations with AAU's, and that's a verifiable fact.
That may be yet he has apparently recruited well without them. That is a positive to me, but I think it has to do with reaching a certain level in your craft, otherwise he ...

Gillespie ? He can most likely get more out of the team than Doh has at this point. But if your history and recent track record isn't good and your a potential public relations nightmare, what good will it do to look for another coach again in two or three years.

Re: Harp's Scoring Line
0 points 0 rebounds 0 Assists 0 Blocks 0 Steals in 13 minutes.
Just take a look at his career stats. The bottom line is that he was a good H.S. ball player who for whatever reason has failed to live up to anything close to the expectations. Maybe he's not making the grades ,he got homesick but ...

Re: Official SMU vs USF Thresd
7 assists in a lineup where 3 guards get 24 plus minutes ?
Harp again statistically irrelevant in 24 minutes. Replace him for those 24 mins and you get addition by subtraction. His team leading TO's could have been the difference in the game.
I like Otis effort but could say the same thing abt ...

I agree to a point with you both Shooter and Stallion. One the most underlying questions that occurs explicitly and implicitly here has been the " What have you done for me lately " scenario. The answer that I came up with to my own question (Where does he go from here? ) was that BG is going to sit ...

Bring Gillespie in ?
I think BG is a very good coach, yet , given that he was handed the reigns at arguably the best program in the country, with the biggest winning tradition, great booster support, national program recognition... .etc... he failed to bring the change at KU that several of our posters here thinks he ...

Re: Thoughts at the end of the season
After watching 5-6 home games over the season I see:
1. A front court that is tall and long but largely unathletic. USM had much better athletes and almost negated our height advantage.
2. McCoy and Walker are capable guards but none is a show stopper.
3. MD has dramatically improved his bench ...
