Re: RIP Paul Layne
I wanted to offer my deepest sympathy to Paul Layne's family and friends. I always admired his dedication to your football team. Hard to find fans like him.

Re: FIRE JANKOVICH NOW
Very sad to see Davis waste his career at SMU. Hope he sees the light and transfers to a real college with a real sports program with a real basketball team with a real coach.
Yes but it was a good thing he came to SMU since TCU's coaching staff had failed to recognize his talent and gave him ...

No way thats like when our football stadium say 24k when its like 12k. There couldn't have been more than 1k people there including the SMU fans.

Re: TCU Already Expanding Amon Carter Stadium
Most fans would have been happy with a new awning/roof to cover the east stands for those ridiculously hot day games in September and early October.

Re: UAB's Practice Facility
When we we were making CUSA and MWC money, we built our indoor facility in phases as budget and donations permitted. First we had to move the baseball field. Second we built the foundation and astroturf field. Third, we built the structure around the field. Finally we air conditioned the facility ...

Meacham was the play caller. Patterson is going to have Cumbie call them next year. That was the reason Meacham looked elsewhere. Meacham also coached receivers. I assume that is what Dykes will do this next season.

Re: Houston aiming high
Our conference tv deal is great in terms of exposure but we are severely underpaid. The deals the P5 have signed are unsustainable. I think in the future the money will be less for most conferences, but our conference has proven its worth and should be rewarded for it with an increase in pay ...

We will have plenty of fans there, but not like a few years ago. When we were in the MWC, your game was one of the few close road games we had. Now they we are playing Texas, Baylor, OU, OSU, etc. it is not.

The game was sold out. After half time people abandoned their seats by the thousands. A day game in September and 96 degree heat will do that. Thank you TV people.

Re: Rick Hart & Mizzou
First the Big XII can't add ND without ND having to pay the ACC. Second, the ACC can't take WVU off the hands of the Big XII without paying the Big XII. For that reason, WV won't be going anywhere. As I've said all along the TV suits will make these decisions. Apparently, ESPN and Fox don't want ...

We are inline with Rice and TCU.
Baylor is where the real cost bargain lies for a private education.
The cost to attend TCU for 2016-2017 will be $55,630. This is tuition, fees, books, room, and board.

Also - apparently only girls want to go to TCU. They have 8300 undergrads, but over 5,000 are chicks. Might explain the really really great Pom squad.
TCU has 8894 undergrads.

Another variable in application numbers is the application fee. Some schools don't charge them. Schools that do, charge different rates. That may affect the totals.
