I AGREE with us all wearing Red, or Blue, then it will look like everyone in a sold out stadium is wearing OUR colors (which happen to be RED & BLUE, and not RED & WHITE). Then we need an aerial photo of the full stadium and smack it on the front of next year's media guide !!!

BEST COACH IN THE BOWLS

I want to recognize what I thought was exemplary behavior by the Boise State Coach Peterson. Of course, watching the game on TV, I didn't see every reaction, but the ones that were shown, he never shook his head, he never yelled at a referee, when the camera did zoom in on him, he was praising and ...

So far, I vote for a tie:
Boise State vs. OU - because Boise State BUSTED the BLASTED BCS.
Texas Tech vs. Minnesota - because Tech broke a NCAA record for number of points in a comeback.

Cracks me up, the guys on ESPN can't agree on who gets the "sticker" for Boise State because there were so ...

at this point id be happy with a real oc and qb coach to focus on making willis the heisman his senior year

See, now you're thinking! It was exciting when Dickerson was in that hunt, but I'm not even looking for than kind of flash and dash, just some steady, impressive ball playing.

Look at ...

i know you said it was a rhetorical question...but it just begs for a response...

dont get me wrong a coach is important...and sometimes crucial (if he wasnt they wouldnt exist) but...

the same teams are always at the top because of reputation...Notre Dame always picks up big recruits no matter ...

If Coaching Doesn't Matter . . .

. . . then why are the same teams always at the top?

(this is a retorical question)

Coaching does matter, and a great coach can get a team up and on it's feet faster than 5 years.

We sit around and let the media and everyone else blame SMU's problems on the death penalty. Most of the boys ...

Before anyone runs Coach Burns out of town, didn't the Ponies score the third-highest number of points in school history this year?

So.
If the points on the board are not more than the other team's points on the board, they win the game. Who cares how many points we score, except that Bob's ...

Re: Drop it

[quote="ponyup10"]If anyone should be replaced or re-evaluated its Burns…Bennett stays[quote]

Exactly, well said, but let me ask you this...
Who hires the offensive coordinator? Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't the head coach pick his staff? If that is so, and Bennett hired Burns, and ...

What a spoiled brat. That's real "teamwork". I guess he's got another school lined up that will pay for a superior education, while he pursues his dream of playing college football. And where is he going with PB? Does he know something no one else knows? Does he know where PB is going?

Its time for SMU to expect their damn coach to easily outrecruit the pitiful group of programs in CUSA and to be competitive in recruiting against TCU. I'm getting pretty tired of the damn excuses when NTSU, Rice, Tulsa, UTEP and Houston have all by-passed SMU during Bennett's tenure to go the ...

Oh, OK, the Bradford at Lincoln Park, that is very close to SMU, not close to the airport, but is close to SMU.

You can get to the campus from the hotel in about 10 minutes, straight south on 75 to Mockingbird, take Mockingbird ...

You are welcome . . . we lost a team for several years, but not to a tragedy. It was called the death penalty, but compared to Marshall, it was nothing.
