Re: La Tech
I am a constant fan but why are posters (some) so excited about a home court win over La Tech? Lots to do and prove. Couldn't see game today but score was close.
O'Guin ?
Anyone know of anything about his injury. A post from a couple days ago indicated he was carted off the practice field? What is the word?

Re: Recruiting '12
I think the word Big, in the word Biggs, is overrated. More than height and muscle you need athleticism and hustle. Take look at a lot of successful college teams these days. Lot of teams get away with not going taller than 6'9".

Re: SMU Hoops Mixtape
Great video but the empty seats in the background is pathetic. Don't understand how in a city of 3 million or whatever Dallas area is these days that 5K (.0016% of pop.) can't make it to a college basketball game. Where is the marketing and visibility?

Decisive Victory in Houston
After following game tracker online and reading up about the game it must have been a gritty performance. In Houston - extending a lead the way they did late in the 2nd half. This team appears to have come a long way. Congrats to the Mustangs!

Re: Thanks, From Coach Doh
Would have loved to watch that comeback last night. Things seem to be heading in right direction on all fronts. A gritty bunch digging in finding ways to win. Impressive defense. Better recruiting. Talent in the pipeline. Growing student support. Uh oh, don't look now but maybe SMU hoops is on it's ...

Re: Question: what will be the likely starting 5 next year
For next season only 2 guys (on paper) taller than 6'8". I agree another big man is needed in this rotation but is there a space left for scholarship? Norman is listed 6'6" to 6'8" depending on publication so no idea his size or place on the court in this line up.

Re: Devon Moreland is # 30 DE in 2011 Class on BR
If there was any reason to be concerned over DM qualifying he would be going the state school route considering all of his offers. Do not worry about grades. Worry about him being poached.

CARTER WALL
With the uncertainty surrounding Carter Wall and his recent visit to TCU, who is the SMU coach who recruited him and what actions are being taken to keep him at SMU? Is Wall one of Adrian Klemm's guys?

Re: Moody upgrades!
I get a chance to see about 2-3 games a year at Moody and I have to say it is not a nice gym any longer. Really old and possibly the worst collegiate level patron friendly arena I have ever been to. I have been to may only a dozen or so different arenas so my perspective is not expert but you don't ...

Re: Carter Wall sniffing around elsewhere
Carter Wall, and others, may stay or may choose to go elsewhere. Someone said on a previous post that TCU likely put up with poachers for 10 years. It is part of the price to pay getting better in this facet of the game. In the end, if he chooses to go elsewhere than good for him. Let him go, wish ...
