I'm not sure how no one has mentioned this yet, but it seems like SMU has made it back into the national spotlight.

Re: Feron Hunt
Fair enough. I think I worked hard to earn this criticism. I feel like it's never fair to remove a comment once you have posted it, so I will let it stand, but I will apologize for my earlier comments. Definitely not fair to Feron Hunt or his motives which I clearly do not know about. As my mom used ...

Re: Feron Hunt
Could we please not act like this is some great pick up or part of our master recruiting plan. Feron would prefer to be a Frog 7 days a week, but unfortunately he was recruited over. It's not some great coincidence that Kaden Archie committed to TCU on October 15th and by the 20th Hunt decommited ...

Re: Kaden Archie & Kyler Edwards joint OV
Apparently we are not in the running for Archie anymore. 247 shows him as a major TCU lean. Not sure who our replacement options are. I'm guessing we will try to pick up another transfer player after the season. Definitely seems like our recruiting has slipped from a couple of years ago.

Re: Top 25
Cormac has been a problem for a long time. In fact his voting has been so out of touch, that at times the ap has actually discarded his ballot. He truly should have lost his vote a year or two ago.

Re: Other Games
TCU's rpi forecast fell to 51 after that game. A couple of additional "unexpected" losses and they might not be dancing in March after all. I know they have talent, but TCU has been truly one of the most overrated teams this season. Then again, maybe I just really don't care for that school!

I'm tired of the wining about Morris' loyalty to our program! He has been a great ambassador to SMU and if it is time for him to leave, then he at least left us better than he found us which is a whole lot more than I can say about our previous coach. To compare Chad Morris to June is exceptionally ...

Re: | 2016 SMU Football Predictions |
While making it to a bowl would in itself be a huge achievement this season, the real benefit would be the extra two weeks of practice that come with such an invitation. For a young team on the rise two additional weeks of training between the end of the regular season and spring practice can be ...

Re: More proof that our probation was a vendetta...
The bottom line is, when it comes to NCAA violations you better hire excellent, competent lawyers who control the narrative both publicly and privately. Since it is preferable to be punished under the old system instead of the new system, why didn't we come up with a better argument to have this ...

Re: dear god that call
My understanding is that if there is ANY contact with the defender after control of the ball is established then the ruling the officials used to overturn the play does not apply. While it was very minimal, there was contact after the catch and therefore changes the way the play is viewed all ...
